Hallo. Guten Tag :)
My name is Andreas and I have taught German in Hong Kong for 15 years. I was born and grew up in Pforzheim, Germany. While I was studying for a diploma degree (Betriebswirtschaft/Wirtschaftsinformatik), I started to teach kids and adults from foreign countries.
I now own a language center in Causeway Bay, where I tutor children and adults who take exams, such as IGCSE, AS, Sprachdiplom, IB and the Goethe Certifications A1 - C1, etc. Based on my student's needs and goals, I plan my classes correspondingly, especially for exam preparations.
My students often find me cheerful and patient. My f2f and online classes are efficient, practical as well as interesting. Of course, the key to any successful learning and outcome is when the students enjoy the language process!

Guten Tag,
My name is Rolf Awater. I am German and have been living in Hong Kong since my retirement in 2016. I love this city and feel very comfortable residing here with my HK-born wife. I studied mirco- and macro- economy in Germany at the University of Cologne and Kiel, and obtained the Diploma Kaufmann at the Cologne University.
In Germany, I was a businessman and a sworn expert. I worked to provide expert opinions for private people, insurance companies and different levels of courts. In Germany, I gave numerous speeches related to my job, also privately about astronomy and bird watching in HK.
I love Hong Kong and Chinese culture. I particularly enjoy the nature here and like to communicate with local people. I would be glad and thankful to confer my knowledge of the German language, and support pupils or students to improve their German.
